April 2010 - The Second City becomes the First City of American Burlesque!

It all started in 1893 with Little Egypt and the Hoochie-Coochie dancers at the World’s Columbian Exposition, right here in our own backyard. Now, it all comes back home as Chicago plays host to the first-ever Windy City Burlesque Festival. Blending old traditions with a new attitude, this festival will shine a spotlight on some of the finest burlesque performers throughout the country.
